Will my medical or security alarm work on nbn?

Not always. Some medical alarms, security alarms, fire panels and lift phones were built for the old phone network. Check with the company that supplies the device before you switch. If you rely on a medical alarm, you can join nbn’s Medical Alarm Register, which gives you extra information and support when your nbn is installed.
